Have you had lots of things that you have wanted to do but have been unable to do during this time? Are you missing someone that you usually see quite often? I am sure you all have lots of things you are looking forward to doing once this lockdown has finished.
This is something that I am thinking about doing myself to get me through this horrible time. Every time I wish I could do something, go somewhere, treat myself to something, see someone I love, visit a new place, invite people to visit, I am going to write it down on a piece of paper and put it into a jar or a box.
Once this pandemic and lockdown is over I will then have a jar full of activities that I have wanted to do. I will turn this into my bucket list and each day I am struggling to find something to do, I will pick one out of the jar and that will be my activity for the day. I will be more grateful than ever for the little and lovely things in my life.
This jar could also be a positivity jar filled with positive messages. Then each time you are feeling low or need a bit of a boost you can pick a quote out of the jar. This will help you to see things a little brighter in this tricky time. You could also turn this into a mindfulness activity and decorate your jar or your box.
